Carlos González Morcillo
Associate professor at the School of Computer Science of the University of Castilla-La Mancha. He is currently Academic Director of the Vice-Rectorate for Transformation and Digital Strategy, member of the AIR Research Group and CEO of FK Interactive, a Spin-Off of the University of Castilla-La Mancha. He holds a European PhD in Computer Science from the University of Castilla-La Mancha (2007), a degree in Computer Science (2002) and a technical degree in Computer Science (2000).
In the research field, the core of activity is focused on two well-defined lines: Distributed Artificial Intelligence (Multi-Agent Systems) and Computer Graphics. He has participated in more than 20 technology transfer research projects and contracts. He has been principal researcher or researcher responsible for 8 projects, with a total funding of more than 450,000 €. Since 2010 he has been collaborating as an expert and technical specialist in project evaluation for AENOR and EQA.
He has been an associate professor at the University of Castilla-La Mancha since 2002, with more than 3,000 hours of teaching. He has published 7 books, and has published many articles in international journals ISI JCR of first level, as well as several publications in other international journals and congresses. Director of 25 End of Degree Works, 8 End of Master's Works and 1 Doctoral Thesis. In 2009 he was the first Spanish to obtain the " Blender Foundation Certified Trainer". Since 2011, Director of the Expert Course in Video Game Development (30 ECTS), with 8 editions to date.
